If I use a remanufactured toner cartridge does it nullify my printer warranty?
Absolutely not. Invalidating the warranty would be in violation of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act. It's also an infraction of antitrust laws.
Do remanufactured toner cartridges have the same print capacity as OEM toners and cartridges?
Remanufactured toners and cartridges print up to 13% more pages per cartridge than OEM. More pages are printed,
because the remanufactured cartridge contains more toner.
Is the cost per page more using a remanufactured toner cartridge?
No. On a cost per page basis, remanufactured cartridges save between 39% and 63%
over OEM toner cartridges.
Is there a difference in print quality?
No. Print quality does not change when using remanufactured toner cartridges vs. OEM.
How does a remanufactured cartridge come about?
To produce a remanufactured cartridge, all internal components that are
involved with the printing process are checked and replaced, if necessary.
These parts include the drum, developer roller, primary charge roller,
toner and cleaning blade. The only part that is never replaced is the outer
shell of the cartridge. Once all new parts are installed, the cartridge is
filled with toner and resealed. The amount of toner that is filled in a
compatible cartridge is usually greater than that in an OEM cartridge.
